This fine porter was enjoyed from the source in a growler in a snifter.
Pouring a deep dark blackish brown with light cola highlights and a
very nice head of foam that subsides to a thick ring and nice sudsy pool
with excellent sudsy lacing that is one good looking porter. Nose of
chocolate, subtle brown sugars, and deeply roasted malts. Flavors
lightly exceed the nose with brown sugars and deep roasted malts
awash in dark chocolate and touched with subtle char on the middle
and back of the taste while being rounded out with a faint subtle hop
that is lightly herbal. An excellent brew with a nice smooth and lightly
carbonated mouthfeel that finishes sweet and roasted. Balanced and
delicious. Would have this one again.
Cheers Streetside----keep up the good work!
