A first for us from this new brewery.
Enjoyed from a growler in a snifter via Jingle Jim's Eastgate. This unique stout
with Ghanaian cocoa nibs, cherries, and milk sugars pours a dark blackish brown
with cola highlights and a nice head of off white foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin
light pool, and nice light lacing. Nose of dark chocolate, tart pie cherries, dark sweet malts,
and strong booze. Flavors exceed the nose by quality with cherry notes awash in mild
dark chocolate notes, brown sugars, and a warming strong booze with a touch of cream.
Very nice mouth feel with a warming subtly dry finish, light carbonation, and a medium body
that finishes sweet with a lightly lingering tartness.
Overall, a nice new brew that is perfect for the Cincy beerscape.
Can't wait to visit this place!
Cheers
