You've had the rest, now you can have the #blessed. This hazy, juice box was bombed with Citra and Australian Vic Secret! Tantalizing aromas of fresh pineapple, decadent papaya, and luscious passion fruit will have you on your knees thanking the beer gods that you could tick this one off. Fresh tropical fruit and dank flavors caress your palate while you delight in the pillow-soft mouthfeel and heavenly stone fruit esters from our special New England IPA year. This beer makes us feel #blessed and we hope you do too.

A: The beer is very hazy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a a quarter finger high bright white head that has excellent retention properties.
S: Light aromas of pineapples are present in the nose along with notes of papayas.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has stronger flavors of papaya.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA isn't as light and fluffy compared to other hazies but has an interesting aroma and flavor profile.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. The scent had dank citrus spice notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dank bitter citrus spice pleasure. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

New England IPA brewed with Citra and Australian Vic Secret hops. Poured from a pint can into a Brooklyn Brewery tulip. The pour is downright cloudy and light apricot in color. It sports a very fine crown of white foam with excellent retention and nice lacing. I could smell the citrus notes as soon as I started pouring it. Lots of fresh oranges, lemons, peaches, nectarines, and pineapples.
Medium-light body with a delicate feel and a sharp, fruity flavor. Up front there's a slightly sweet graininess that quickly gives way at mid-palate, where the beer really dries out with waves of pineapple, passionfruit, orange, and lemon. At the back of the palate, the hoppy flavors refuse to die out, instead intensifying slightly to a dank, mineral-like finish that is not at all unpleasant and very appetizing. There is a lingering quinine-like bitterness laced with tropical fruit. Usually these NE Style IPAs check out faster than this one does.
Picked this up at the release party. I've never had Australian Vic Secret hops before (at least as far as I know). I read that it has a flavor similar to that of Galaxy, but a little lighter and less aggressive in flavor. I tend to agree. It definitely goes well with the Citra hops, as (like Galaxy) it seems to lean more towards sweeter fruit flavors where Citra brings in a sharper, more acrid and biting character. This is the second review I have done from one of this brewer's beers and I have like them both. I think the mineral and stony dryness on the finish may put off some drinkers, but I rather like it.
