From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This fine collaboration with Platform
brewing pours a nice and murky blackish brown with cola highlights and a decent head of
light tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin light pooling layer, and shows some very nice
sudsy lacing. Nose of subtle maple, rich cocoa, subtle cream, and vanilla mixed with marshmallow.
Flavors are decidedly delectable with a moderate maple and cocoa (nibs per the description) mingling in
harmony with cream and vanilla mixed with a decent char note and some earthy malt notes that show
notes of dark coffee.
Excellent mouth feel; light carbonation, creamy lightly click body, and a rich malt driven finish that
displays all the characters of the play in perfect unison on a long sweet finish with enough dark
roast to keep it all in check.
Excellent!
Cheers
