I am trying this beer off the tapper as part of a four sample flight at the brewery. It poured a clear dark amber with no head and no lace. The scent had coffee notes with hints of brown sugar and cinnamon. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt and ginger, cinnamon and brown sugar presence with coffee highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

From the growler via Country Fresh Beechmont in a snifter. This
solid "imperial" brown ale pours a nice ruby tinged brown with a nice
head of off white foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin light swirling
layer, and displays some subtle lacing. Nose of coffee, subtle cinnamon,
brown sugars, and mild touches of bakers cocoa, Flavors follow suite
rather well but show some light variances with some dark fruit notes
that are mingling nicely with coffee and a shaving off a block of bakers
cocoa. Touches of cinnamon and a hint of ginger gives me notes of
Greek Wedding cookies, while the brown sugars bring it all back into
focus making for a solid little brew. Nice mouth feel; medium body,
medium carbonation, and a malt and subtle cinnamon accentuated
finish that is a touch dry.

A solid little brew for this brewery. Decently balanced and enjoyable.

Cheers
