From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brown pours a dark
brown with a modest head of off white foam that fizzles to a thin ring.
Nose of faint bourbon, moist oak, dark brown sugars, and astringent booze
amongst earthy malt note. Flavors expand wonderfully on the nose with
dark brown sugars, oak, bourbon, mellow rum, subtle vinous notes, and
light herbal note on the rear with hints of coffee. Nice mouth feel; medium
full body, light yet zippy carbonation that is lightly effervescent and supplying
nice lift to the brew, and a lightly dry finish.
Overall, an excellent brown in barrels!

Outer Gods is a blend of two wood aged Imperial Brown Ales. The first, aged in bourbon barrels from Boone County Distilling for a year and the second aged on Rum Barrel chips, the marriage of the two create a harmonious blend of chocolate and coffee flavors that celebrate the Darkness of the Great Beyond.
Hints of caramel, sweet brown sugar, and delightful oak are swirled together to blend in your glass for an experience like few others.
