16 ounce can, canning date of 6/30/21 stamped on the bottom label. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a snifter, the beer pours a very dark brown color with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, it smells like chocolate cake/donuts, vanilla, caramel and a bit of dark fruitiness. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, very sweet tasting with the chocolate, vanilla and caramel flavors being the strongest, and a hint of dark fruit and coffee. It does remind me of a chocolate donut! Mouthfeel/body is medium, seems a bit thin for an imperial stout. It's slick and easy to drink with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. If you like pastry/donut style brews then give this a try, I liked it but it did start getting too sweet tasting for me by the time I finished the can.

From the 16oz can in a snifter. This monster brew pours a dark red tinged
brown with a fantastic head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin wafting layer,
and shows off some very nice lacing. Nose of sweet chocolate, cream, brulee, and
sweet malts with touches of dark fruits. Flavors pack the punch with literal chocolate
donuts, vanilla cream, raspberry hints, and layers of sweet malts. Nice mouth feel;
medium full body, moderately slick, coating, low carbonation, and a sweet verging on
cloying finish.
Overall, a very nice dessert brew, but suggest you split it at the end of the night.
Cheers
