Look - very milky with a very pale yellow with a foamy white head and lacing
Smell - smells like key lime pie, excited to try it
Taste - slightly bitter key lime, really missed the mark
Feel - medium body with a slight carb
Overall - disappointed, love the smell, taste isn’t all the greatest

Key Lime Pie Milkshake IPA brewed with Citra kops, Key limes, and graham cracker. Poured from a can into a Streetside pub glass. A rough pour produces a beer so hazy it could easily pass for juice, except for the fairly well-sustained rocky white head on top. The hops and vanilla come through well on the nose, and the combination of citrusy hops and rich vanilla really does make one think of a meringue pie of some sort.
Medium light body with a creamy feel (for an IPA) and a citrusy flavor. Very slight toast-like sweetness up front, then the hops and limes come in and make me think of lemon curd and graham cracker. The vanilla is faint, but manages to stay afloat and even intesifies a little bit on the finish. Flavors of lime, orange, and vanilla linger pleasantly on the finish.
Thank Heaven that Streetside is still open for curbside service during this ongoing Covid-19 craziness. The best part is, I can spend lots of money there getting take-out crowlers and 4-packs and not feel guilty! I'm helping out a local business in these troubling times!!
