Collaboration with Wolf's Ridge Brewing
Team Streetside and Team Wolf's Ridge got together (virtually) to brew a celebration of our most popular stouts, Demogorgon and Dire Wolf! The majority of this beer will rest in barrels for months and months, but we decided to give WRB and Streetside fans a quick taste of the collab before Diregorgon goes down for it's long nap.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This beast pours a dark blackish brown
with a decent head of khaki foam that sizzles to a thick ring with light lacing.
Nose of dark bakers chocolate, nutty toasted malts, dark coffee hints, char,
and subtle strawberry touches. Flavors hit the mark. Dark coca, dark coffee,
moderate charm deep roast, subtle sweet molasses, dark fruit notes, and toasted
nuts (almonds). Nice mouth feel; full body, smooth, rich, coating, moderate slick,
and finishing lightly dry.
Overall---excellent!
Cheers

Matte black with a moderate tan head settling to a thin ring.
An artificial sweetness comes across as a little acrid, translating as hot cocoa with hints of coffee, where its fizz in conjunction with the sweetness actually amplifies some heat.
The medium body comes with a thickness in feel that increases its perceived heft before finishing slightly sticky.

Look - black thick with a nice tan head and some lacing
Smell - roasty nutty slight black liquorice smell
Taste - about like the smell with a slight vanilla as well
Feel - medium full body with a light slightly creamy carb
Overall - not bad but interested to see what a barrel does to jt
