Look - mud color brown as expected with a BW with an initial nice head but doesn't leave much lacing and no real rimming
Smell - Bourbon caramel wood with a fig brown sugar
Taste - follows the scmell with the bourbon caramel wood and the fig brown sugar. Not to sweet and not to boozy. More taste than the smell
Feel - Medium full body with a lighter carb but pretty nice for the beer
Overall - pretty nice Barleywine. Love the BB taste and the classic taste

16 ounce can, canned on 04/28/21, thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours a somewhat clear copper/orange color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention is good and there's a small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like bourbon, brown sugar, vanilla, raisins, fig and some oak. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some caramel, toffee and some booziness. It's certainly a sweeter tasting barleywine. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. If you like sweet tasting barrel aged barleywines then pick this one up!

16 oz can bought at their 5th anniversary celebration, poured into a Spiegelau barrel-aged glass at ~40 degrees F and allowed to warm during consumption.
L: Pours a semi-clear, mildly ruddy hickory brown, and forms a thin tan head that vanishes quickly.
S: Syrup. A glass of thick candi syrup, with a couple shots of booze in it. Underneath that there are hints of cherry, fig, and brown sugar.
T: More complex than the nose, but exactly as sweet. Brown sugar, candi sweetness, cherries, and figs swarm out of the glass, underpinned with muted caramel-vanilla barrel notes. Oak and wood tannins are faint but present. This stays sticky-sweet from sip to swallow.
F: Full, sticky, and relatively still.
O: An interesting barleywine. I really like it, but I am a sweet beer fan. Consider yourself warned.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid barley wine pours a
nice burnt auburn with a modest head of off white foam that settles
to a thin ring, thin clumping pool, and shows faint lacing. Nose of date,
fig, bourbon, vanilla, light oak, brown sugar, brulee, faint cherry, and
astringent booze notes. Flavors follow and hit the WOW factor; astringent
booze mingles with bourbon, vanilla, oak, brown sugars, date, figs, raisin,
light cherry, and vinous notes of Merlot and brandy. Nice mouth feel;
medium body, warming, smooth, rich, low carbonation, medium body,
and a warming moderately dry finish.
Overall, a fantastic barley wine!
Cheers
