Teaming up with local and celebrated homebrewers is not only a successful way to win over the brewing community, but also a way to make some pretty tasty beer.
Hello Rockview is more like "hello tastebuds" as the blackcurrant Berlinerweiss revs up the senses with a tangy and tart, nearly cidery, nearly winey scent decorated with fruity sweetness in a nearly confection-like scent. A mild mannered sweetness carries its fruity charm in the manner of kool-aid and squeezebox.
As the sweetness dissipates and the tartness grows, the underlying acidity of lime, lemon, gooseberry and white grape step out with a clean and succinct lactic sourness. The blackcurrant turns from juicy and sweet to dry and vinous nearing the finish where hints of damp burllap and sourdough round out the session.
Light, crisp and refreshing, the ale is a cleaner and fruitier example of those enjoyed by traditional Germans, but this ale splits the difference nicely between what's classic Berlinerweiss and what's modern kettle sour ale.

Pours a golden color with some thickness. Smells very line is similar to applesauce. Taste is also applesauce like flavors. Sweet and not too much sourness.
