This Imperial stout is rich and creamy and with legs that will coat your glass! With tons of toasted coconut to smooth out the 12 % beast, and chocolate to balance it out, then finished with copious amount of marshmallows!

16 ounce can, canned 4/20/22. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stuck around a while. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like fudge, roasted malt, marshmallows, coconut and cream. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also the addition of some burnt/charred malt and dark fruity flavors. Definitely a sweeter tasting brew, I like it but it's pretty close to being too sweet tasting for me. Wish the coconut was stronger. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick and a bit syrupy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Definitely worth picking up if you're into sweeter tasting pastry stouts.

This one is dark with almost no head retention and a pleasant, sweet marshmallow taste. There is also baker’s chocolate and a slight coconut. The alcohol comes through, but not bad for 12%. If I had to nitpick there is an ever so slight artificial metallic taste and it is a tad too sweet. Thick and creamy. Overall excellent.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Growler Stop. This monster pours a decadent coal
black with a very nice head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, and with a swirl
gives a shot at some very nice legs. Nose of marshmallow creme, dark chocolate,
char, coffee, brulee, and toasted coconut. Flavors eek out the perfect balance of
dark chocolate, marshmallow, cream, toffee, coffee, dark berry touches, and rich
toasted coconut that melds nicely with the marshmallow cream notes. Nice mouth
feel; full slick body, smooth, coating, rich, warming, and finishing with a nice burnt malt
note.

Overall----an exceptional desert brew

Cheers

I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had hints of sweet rich chocolate malt and marshmallow notes. The taste was sweeter leaning yet nicely balanced and easy to sip with good sweet malt base and subtle chocolate, coconut and marshmallow presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
