I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had hints of sweet rich chocolate malt with vanilla and bourbon notes. The taste was sweeter leaning yet nicely balanced and easy to sip with good sweet malt base and subtle chocolate, vanilla and bourbon presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Look - black thick, nice rimming. Don't know about head since it was poured on tap prior. Need to re-review
Smell -chocolate barrel and booze
