16 ounce can, canned 7/21/22. Big thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with almost a couple inch tan head that stayed around for a really long time. Lots of lacing, too. Didn't think there was going to be much of a head when I started pouring it, but it really kicked in when I didn't expect it! Aroma is nice, the brew smells like vanilla, dark chocolate, dark fruit and roasted malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some cream, molasses and blackberry flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit creamy with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall pastry stout, it's sweet but without being overpowering. Worth trying if you get the chance.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This monster pours a dark
coal black with a moderate head of brown foam that settles to
a thin ring, thin swirling pool, and shows faint lacing. Nos of dark
chocolate, rich vanilla, deep brulee, deep char, dark coffee notes,
and dark berry touches. Flavors surpass the nose with a fine
presentation of dark chocolate, deep char, brulee, coffee, dark
berry notes of raspberry and dark sweet cherry, black strap molasses,
and vanilla. Nice mouth feel; full body, slick, VERY coating, rich, subtle
carbonation, and a lightly dry and bitter malt finish.
Overall---intense roast and flavor.
