Dark Trifecta, the barrel aged stout collaboration with Masthead, was aged in Boone County Distilling bourbon barrels for a whopping 16 months. This massive, scrumptious beast was aged on cocoa nibs before any other adjuncts were added to give it an incomparable chocolatie-ness.

Look - black thick slight tan head and nice rimming and lacing
Smell - Sweet milk chocolate with some marshmallow
Taste - a lot of booze and woody slight caramel barrel. A Ton of chocolate and sweet with a slight toasted malt and slight bitterness
Feel - pretty full body very slight cream and a very very slight crisp carb
Overall - Really sweet chocolate but a ton of barrel
