In the fleeting dance of flavors, watermelon flavor bursts like a summer sunrise, sweet and refreshing, a brief kiss of the summer season's warmth. Dragonfruit follows a mysterious visitor from a distant land, its vibrant pink hue and exotic essence adding intrigue to the affair. Lime, a zesty interloper, joins the party, injecting a sharp tang that awakens the senses. Together, they form a tantalizing trio, a brief but unforgettable encounter on the palate.

16oz can. Date stamp on label reads '10/10/23'.
Mostly clear, bright scarlet red colored body. Brief lasting off white head, which remains as an active surface storm and thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma is watermelon first and then more tart fruit.
Taste is an equal mix of watermelon and dragonfruit, with other fruit flavors of lime, lemon, green apple, and green melon. All quickly fade in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Dry finish. Sweet and a little tart. Okay carbonation.
Lots of watermelon in this one along with other fruit flavors, including lime which provides a tart component.

Awaking the ephemeral senses in us all, Streetside Brewery shakes off the winter blahs and brings us a taste of whimsical warm weather fruits. Watermelon, dragonfruit and lime decorate this kettle soured ale in summer-like fashion.
Moderately hazy and flowing diffusedly with golden straw hues, Ephemera rolls onto the nose with a fruity fragrance of tropical fruit, citrus, wine and orchard varieties with hints of sourdough. The light and bready flavors of dough plays an early tone in taste along with hints of honeysuckle, taffy and sourdough once more.
As the fruits unfold on the middle palate, its the watermelon that stands strong with a quick followup of juicy dragonfruit. A foundation of sourness keeps the session bright and brisk with strong lime influence but also with hints of lemon, green apple, white grape and honeydew. Tightening its sour grip in finish, the late taste is acutely tart and refreshing with the fruit additions evaporating on the finish with ease.
Light, crisp and refreshing from start to finish, the sour ale is simple in its acidity character but is charming with the fruit cocktail that plays out on the palate like fruitier, more tart cocktails.
