Oh snap! Our fantastic fans voted for a Gingersnap Brown Ale for our 700th batch, so we whipped up a wickedly spiced cookie-inspired brown ale. With a malty, slightly chocolatey base and dry-cookied like all the best beers. We know this will be the perfect beer to enjoy during the holidays!

16 ounce can, canned on 12/15/23. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a very dark brown color with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like toffee, bittersweet chocolate, roasted malt, ginger and earthiness. Taste is similar to the aroma but there's also some caramel and bready malt flavors noticeable too. I think the ginger has more of a kick in the taste, as it wasn't too strong in the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and coating with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brown ale, thought it was a good overall brew. Helps if you like ginger but it's worth a try for sure!
