To craft it, the brewers aged a silky Pastry Stout base in a mix of bourbon and rye barrels for 26 months. Then they layered it with cacao nibs, walnuts, almonds, macadamia nuts, and pecans for a boozy take on a decadent brownie.

Look - Pours a super dark brown-black with almost no head that very quickly disappears.
Smell - A very nice scent of cacao, walnuts, pecans, and light bourbon. Like a brownie!
Taste - Bourbon, cacao, and nuts. Bourbon is far more dominant in the taste than the smell.
Feel - Nicely creamy, though I felt the bourbon flavor, while good, was a bit dominant.
Overall - Not a bad stout. A good brownie scent with a nutty bourbon taste.
