G5 came down from Beloit with the JBL blasting Fetty, so we just HAD to get down and brew up a big ol pastry stout with them. Boiled for eight (8!!!) hours with copious crystal and chocolate malts, this beer was the perfect base for a Chocolate Baklava infusion. Cocoa nibs, cinnamon, pistachios, hazelnut, and walnuts all meld together with a touch of honey for a beer that'll take you back to the old world.

1 PINT can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black as ink and doesn't have much of a head to speak of.
Chocolate aroma. Really more of a fudge aroma.
Big chocolate flavor. I get some honey in the finish and aftertaste.
Full bodied with a thick and syrupy mouthfeel
I think pastry stouts should come in 8-ounce cans so 2 people can split a can. They are good, but a pint is too much richness and sweetness.
