This brewery gastropub is located in a spacious, attractive facility. They offer upscale pub food in generous serving sizes for the price. They carry beer from both the Creston and Saugatuck beers, with the Creston beers brewed in house. (Nearby Saugatauk bought Creston during hard times of the pandemic). 21 taps including 1 nitro, 1 seltzer, 1 shandy and 1 cider.
Tried some food: Both the hero and the spicy fried chicken sandwich were quite good.
Worth a visit even in this"Beer City".

This brewery is hosted in a beautiful, airy, open pub setting. Spacious and comfortable, a perfect venue for a day drink on the weekend.
Have been here twice, by the second recent visit I think they have honed their beer menu more. Some good and diverse options, between an Earl Grey infused EBS to a Mexican Coffee Stout.
Service is friendly - the staff is knowledgeable on their beers. Haven't tried food but will do so next time.
Give them a visit for a relaxed beer with friends.

Stopped in for beers and brunch. Bartender was knowledgeable, menu was very interesting in how they classified malty vs hoppy selections (kind of a pie chart next to each beer) Beers were all good to very good and brunch was fantastic.

The brewery did a marvelous job remodeling a former furniture showroom in an historic building. The pub's physical space and vibe is one of the most attractive in GR (along with Brewery Vivant). My group didn't try anything on the food menu. As for the beer, I tried five of them, and unfortunately, I liked only one, a brown ale. Nonetheless, I'll certainly make a return visit to try more of their beers, for I think Creston Brewery has a good start and much potential to become a stellar pub.

A great space with a copious amount of stellar beers on tap. Couple that with an expanding decadent food menu and you have a winner

New brewery to the Grand Rapids scene. Opened by ex-Founders brewers. Large historic corner building containing a spacious interior with plenty of table seating and a large bar. Open lounge feeling due to large windows wrapping around the perimeter. For being so new (I believe opening in the last month or so) their beer line up is very impressive. They had 16 beers on tap during my visit with flavor profiles all over the map, and each I tried were more than solid representations of style. I believe Panda Bear in particular will be viewed as a standard in spiced style ales and to me was a very unique beer and perfectly timed for fall.
If you're coming to Grand Rapids, you NEED to visit Creston. I promise it will be worth it! Personally I can't wait to come back and try what they dream up next!
