Slightly hazy dark copper body with an average, frothy, tan head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing.
Moderate malty (caramel, roasted) aroma.
Light-to-moderate sweet flavour with a light acidic note; average-lasting sweet finish.

Target 2000 S.p.A. "Tosca Rossa Doppio Malto"
500ml brown glass bottle with swing-top closure. “Da consumarsi preferibilimente entro is: L2131903 01/12/20” and sampled on 12/05/2019

Look: Slightly hazy deep amber colored body beneath a short head of creamy off-white foam that steadily drops to a standard collar but leaves some nice lacing while doing so.

Smell: Clean, floral, malty, and fruity. Gently caramelish. Fresh and fairly bright.

Taste: Richly malty but not too sweet. Floral, fruity (apple, berries, background citrus), and caramelish (some golden caramel, but mainly medium dark and darker like almost-burnt sugar). A median bitterness balances it and it finishes surprisingly dry given the malt that’s there.

Feel: Medium-full in body and gently effervescent with a fine-bubbled median carbonation that warms to become smooth.

Overall: Quite a nice example of the Italian “Doppio Malto Rosso” style of beer.

Had it in a camping in Siena, Italy. Very average with an emphasis on malt. Refreshing all right but not really complex nor special. Not really a craft beer
