Growler fill from the brewery. Surprisingly clear pale gold with a fluffy white head. Fairly juicy IPA aromas of pineapple and earthy spice, faint caramel and some citrus. More resin and earthy hop notes on the palate with a moderate spice character finishing with a flash of cedar and mint. Drinkable and fairly bright and juicy.

fairly solid brut type here, looks delicate, and has a bright fruity hop aroma, very white winey to me, summery, stone fruits too, i think the hop complexion is just right, and i like it having just a little bitterness on the end, not enough of these taste like ipa in my opinion, so i welcome that element. the fermentation is close, it is definitely on the dry side, and the bubbles are pretty much there, but there is a light estery thing to this, makes it kind of belgian to me, and i dont think that was the goal here, like it was fermented too warm, or had long contact on the spent yeast or something, its not quite right, but its also a minimal criticism, as the hops easily overwhelm this little hiccup in the finish, and it doesnt slow me down at all. ripe peach, fruity chardonnay, and citra hops or something like it in the taste, clean on the hop side, not all vegetal and green and overdone like so many of these, more refined, and even with the yeast being what it is, the beer is drinkable and tasty. i wish i had more time to drink their beers when i was in here, and will make sure i carve out a little more time next time i get down this way. had a good time in here and enjoyed the two beers i had. they seem to be doing some more modern and innovative beers than a lot of their local counterparts...
edit: in the can now this one presents a little more like a conventional hazy ipa, murky and still bubbly and dry, but less from the yeast for sure. pleasant and well made for the most part, but a little generic now to me, has this been reformulated?

Draft at Double Tap. Pale golden and hazy, skin of fine head. Aroma hits with a bready , grainy feel, taste adds some lemon zest and citric notes. Dry and dusty
