Brewmaster Jerry has created a beer just for the eclipse. Just like the eclipse, this dunkelweizen is a darker more exciting version of its cousin the heffeweizen. This german style beer is highlighted with notes of banana and clove, a deliciously complex malt bill and low bitterness.

Draft at the brewery. So far, it looks good. Murky brown with a thick, fluffy head. Head fades fast. Wheat , grainy aroma, banana, clove, all within the norm. Taste features all of those, plus some bubblegum and sweet notes. Looks thick, but seems a bit thin. Otherwise a good attempt a style not often seen on these shores.
