16 oz can poured into a tall glass.
It looks black with a 1 finger brown head that dissipates quickly.
It smells sweet, which is unusual. As it warms, it starts to smell roasted.
The roasted malt flavor is outstanding. It is not harsh or bitter and approaches the flavor of roasted coffee beans.
The mouthfeel is awesome too as it is quite creamy.
The follow through flavors are quite hoppy, almost like, may I say, a "Luscious?"
I would love to get this stout all winter long. Oh well.

Dark brown to black with a creamy but short tan head settling to a curled collar.
Taste is coffee, cacao and nutty toasted malt via a medium-light body that's silky but cut by a thin crisp carbonation coming to a just dry, semi-bitter finish of baker's cocoa and tobacco.

On tap at Beers of the Burgh in Pittsburgh, PA.
This one pours a fairly dark steely black, with a small white head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like heavy rich roast, a bit of piney hops, dark roast coffee, and bitter chocolate.
This is nice for a few reasons. One- it shows that Dancing Gnome can make something that isn't an IPA. Two- it's nice to get a stout that isn't really sweet these days. This has a really nice hop bitterness, that complements the high quality dark chocolate and dark roast coffee that this beer puts out on to the palate.
This is creamy, with a slight lingering bitterness on the finish. It feels thicker than the ABV would suggest.
This is a fun little beer- I wish I had more of it.
