Canned 8/26/24.
L: Pours a hazy dark gold with a short white foam that quickly thins to almost nothing. No lacing.
S: Aromas of pineapple, mango, and tangerine.
T: A citrus medley up front of orange, lemon lime, and tangerine. Transitions to grapefruit, with a piney dry and bitter finish that includes a bit of dankness. No alcohol heat.
F: Medium mouthfeel. Medium to low carbonation. A little prickly early.
O: Big citrus flavor gives way to a west coast like finish that satisfies. ABV (8.5%) extremely well hidden.

Poured into standard pint glass: color is straw gold, head is brighter white with small/fine bubbles.
Aroma is citric, light pith, some pine, biscuit.
Taste is more citrus pith, toast, biscuit, pine, maybe some berry; unique flavor but some cattiness mixed in with the base malt and hops.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation,
moderate sweetness, moderate/strong bitterness.
Overall a bright, hoppy, bitter DIPA.

Pours a deep gold, light head with nice lacing. Very little nose. Taste is fairly light, good bitterness, a nice hoppy flavor lingers with another boost of bitter on the finish. Pretty nice imperial. Nothing earth shattering, but good.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy, medium golden amber with a three finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, tropical fruit and dank hops, pineapple, mango, passion fruit; NE hazy profile. Flavor is pale malt, tropical fruit, dank and lightly piney hops, pineapple, catty dankness, mixed tropical fruit and some pine and grapefruit. Light bitterness at first, but builds to moderate, somewhat resinous piney bitterness in the lingering finish. Light to moderate creaminess. As I try IPAs from new breweries, I'm trying to get examples that are likely to have some bitterness, as I'm not fond of the soft, fruit forward style, which most hazies seem to be. This was clearly hazy, but several reviews mentioned bitterness (some saying too bitter), so I gave it a shot and it does work for me. Although more bitter than many fruit juice hazies, it is surprising that some folks found it too bitter, but it may be for a hazy. The good news for me is that this bitterness redeems this one for me. It also has a bit of pine and some definite dankness, which add a lot of interest to the taste. I like the hop bill, which although a bit busy, is flavorful and great tasting. Good introduction to a brewery that has been on my try list for a while.

Can at home with Lisa, August 2020. Pretty bitter, not that great. Better fresh.

Had this on 2020-04-04 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 16oz 2019 can.
A - Hazy golden-orange with a 1-finger white head that drops quickly leaving light lace
S - Fresh pineapple, grass, bread, yeast, wet cement. Quite aromatic.
T - Orange flesh and zest, pineapple juice, aspirin, light pine, grassy/herbal spice and pepper. Mild-moderately bitter. Touch of heat.
M - Medium body and light-medium carbonation. Finishes dry.
O - Despite the age (at least 6 months) this is a good tasting beer with some leanings towards the West Coast style. I'll gladly have it again.

Outstanding New England IPA. Spicy sort of malt bill, if you like Mosaic and Amarillo hops this one is for you. Berry like flavors and big juicy sweet pineapple shifts to a dry finish. I always try to get my hands on this one.
