A straight up, no nonsense, American Imperial Stout. At 9.0% it's the biggest beer we've brewed thus far, and is completely adjunct free. Nothing but barley, water, hops, and yeast went into creating this chewy, chocolatey, indulgent offering. Jet black with a dark mocha head, chocolate is the prominent flavor with bright berry hints and smokey French Roast coffee characteristics. Big body and flavor, but super approachable.

Purchased as part of a 4 pack from the brewery on 10/15/23.

L- Imperial Stout black.

S- Dark roasted malt and molasses.

T- An almost anise flavor. Molasses, sugar
tannic coffee flavor.

F- Viscous mouthfeel. Very fine
carbonation with a very creamy head.

O- Solid, but not world-class. Definitely
worth trying!

A no-adjunct stout that still manages to feature flavors and smells of coffee, dark fruits and bitter baker's chocolate. Feel is smooth and full while still remaining very drinkable. Not overly sweet, with a nice bitterness in the finish.

8 ball black with a pockmarked tan foam of moderate height.

Cigar smoke and cocoa roasts come to a semi-dry finish.

A solidly STOUT porter, to be sure.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark black hue with a thin head that fades to leave a decent legs.

S - Aromas of sweaty gym membership. Salty stale, beer.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, roasted malts, lightly chocolate, little roast. Good finish.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, body a bit thin.

O - Kind of dumpster quality stout. Seriously really poor.

awesome imperial stout out of the 16oz can. It is excellent in its simplicity with no added flavors. The malt was well roasted and rich and the alcohol is warming.
