This one pours a milky and hazy yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells a little bit green, with lots of bitterness, grapefruit rind, pine, grass cuttings, passionfruit, and mango.
I had heard that out of the gate, this was exceptionally bitter, in a bad way. I'm tasting it a few weeks after release, and it's definitely still bitter, but I wouldn't classify it as too bitter. It's got a little bit of leafy hop bitterness, grassy and pine resin, with a cool exotic fruit flavor that reminds me a bit of passionfruit, with a hint of mango.
This is light and soft, surprisingly enough- considering the ABV. It's really drinkable with no hint of the booziness that could be there.
I think Dancing Gnome is doing some great beers and really hitting their stride lately. All these former brewers from Trillium are opening great breweries around the country.
