Received as an extra in a trade, I think. Or JLindros could have given this to me...but...I think this was an extra in a trade. Canned 11/18/18.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice hazy golden hue with a good two finger white head that fades to leave nice lacing and a thin light blanket.
S - Aromas of an almost sharp bitterness, some floral and grassy notes. Little bit of citrus peel and then...raw sourdough? What the heck...
T - Taste is similar to the nose with, sadly, a ton of raw sourdough flavour. Some older bitter/stale like hop flavour, maybe a little bit of almost rotten orange peel. Tastes like a rancid orange marmalade laced sourdough loaf. Ugh.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, crisp, but the body is on the thinner/watery side.
O - Overall...what on Earth is this? A rare terrible dud from Dancing Gnome; I've had a slew of their beers both hoppy and non and I struggle to think of one as terrible as this. Just...wow. I mean, maybe if you're obsessed with sourdough bread then this is up your alley but enjoyable IPA this is not.

16 oz can fresh poured into a tall glass
Can pops
Corn hazy light appearance with foamy white head
Smells sour in a bad way like something spoiled.
Taste is sour, but not quite as bad as the smell.
This is a bust for me.
Not a pleasurable experience.
This tastes like a yeast infection.

16 oz can
Pours hazy orange, sugar white head is pillowy and retains as suds.
Smells of fresh orange and grapefruit citrus over hemp and sourdough bread malts. Hints of floral spice.
Tastes of fresh citrus, chewy sourdough bread malts, and hemp. Some floral notes like spring flowers.
Light to medium body with light fluffy carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Mild, fruity, fresh and easy drinking. Goes down smooth, pleasant aftertaste. This isn't one of their best but is still quite a bit better than your average beer and worth trying.

Very nice hazy pineapple new england style IPA from DG. Huge pineapple and citrus nose leads the way to a balanced malt profile with grapefruit and pine with light bitterness follow. Couldn't leave without a growler for later!
