This has a somewhat hazy look but it lacks the citrus of a NE IPA but does have a pleasing bitterness more in line with the American IPA style. This is quite good and challenging considering that this was made as a one-off for a Pittsburgh band. I have been involved in these sort of promotional beers in the past and this offering is far superior to the mild and incomplex pale ales or lagers that are usually proffered.
