Thanks to adrock314 for this one, from the recent Can Cans BIF. 16oz can (dated 9/28/20. dude run.) Poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear bright copper color with 1/2 inch of light khaki head that had moderate retention and good lacing.
Sweet, slightly caramel-y, malts at the front of the nose, with some floral and grassy hops behind. Maybe a touch of pine too?
Similar on the tongue, with the sweet malts being dominant.
The body was medium-light, smooth, clean, and had a mildly sweet finish.
Drinkability was very nice, it would be easy to quaff a few on an autumn afternoon.
Overall, a pretty nice version of the style. Worth trying if you see it.

16 oz can
Pours mostly clear amber orange. Yellowish white head dissipates to a ring.
Smells of toffee, caramel, biscuit and cereal malts.
Tastes of toffee, biscuit, sweet cereal grains and a little bit of pecan.
Medium body, stinging carbonation.
Really good marzen. Very well balanced and great flavor. This is one of the best American made marzens I have had. Definitely going to have this again.
