Outstanding looking beer, nice and thick looking burnt orange. The aroma was amazing. The citrus (grapefruit and orange) absolutely jumped out of the glass. The taste had the nice grapefruit and orange but it was not as potent. This allowed me to notice a nice herbal flavor that was balanced very well with the citrus. Slightly more bitter than I prefer but I am not a big of fan of bitter. Very nice medium to heavy mouthfeel and while the beer is bitter there is nothing lingering in the back of my throat. Overall this is above outstanding, a very impressive brew.

A nice NEIPA. I little heavy bitter in the finish and not the crazy soft mouthfeel but everything else works well. I like the underlying malt/yeast (not quite sure which). This is my first Dancing Gnome brew. $20 a 4-pack which is kinda steep for Western PA.

16 oz can

Pours hazy orange, pillowy eggshell head retains well.

Aroma is of sourdough bread, cracker, zest, citrus, floral and herbal tea notes.

Flavor is of sourdough, zest, herbal tea, dry cereal, hemp and an earthy bitter finish.

Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.

This is the first of the Bird series I have tried so I don't know if it's just this one or the whole series, but this is a great DG beer that still maintains their trademark malt character but has a noticeably different hop profile from the majority of their other NEIPA type offerings. It'll be memorable to me for that reason and it's just objectively quite good and worth trying.
