Collaboration with Vitamin Sea Brewing
A DIPA we brewed with our friends from MA, Vitamin Sea. We took a super different approach to this one than most of our doubles, utilizing some practices that change the overall utilization of hops throughout the entire process. The result is Colloquialism, a thick and juicy 8% DIPA hopped with Idaho 7 and Mosaic that smells like fresh squeezed orange.

Canned 10/7/19
L: Pulpy dull yellow, very opaque. About a finger and half of an off-white cap that retained quite nicely. Lower end of moderate in terms of lacing.
S: Freshly squeezed orange with hints of lemon, malts and pineapple. Smells like acidic orange juice
T: It literally tastes like orange juice or sunny delight. Tons of ripe citrus with orange being the key player. Lemon, mango and pineapple on the finish with flavors of grass and mild malt undertones. Finish is semi-sweet and honestly juicy with a nice bright hop finish. Orange flavor carries over to after taste.
F: Medium in body and in weight with moderate carbonation. Smooth feel with booze nearly perfectly concealed.
O: I think this is great. Tons of ripe orange flavor that has me going back for more. I am very much enjoying this, and I would drink again/recommend. Cheers!
