Hazy dark orange with a fluffy off-white short puffy blanket that retains well, and creamily so.

This is the second Dancing Gnome I have had in a row that has a Nelson-like characteristic to it. This features a superior fluffy full body with a contrasting sharply bitter, piney and woody bite to it. Brighter notes of grapefruit skin and triple sec pair with cracker, pine resin, lightly dank cannabis and black pepper, all come coming to a softly pillowy, semi-dry finish that has a faint sting on the tip of the tongue.

This is as perfectly West Coast meets New England as I think might be possible.

16 oz can served cold out of the fridge a couple of weeks old.
Like many DIPAs from DG, this one is best served after sitting a couple of weeks.
The body comes together and the flavors really settle down.
As is typical, this DIPA appears golden/orangy hazy with a foamy white head.
The aromas are rich with fruit and dankness.
The taste follows the smell.
The body is nice and heavy/creamy.
Overall, this DIPA is outstanding as the fruit and dank flavors from the hops work very well together and are balanced and the body is super smooth. This was a joy to drink from beginning to end.
