Pours a a cloudy brown, rust-hinted pale color with an off white head that falls fairly quickly and leaves very little in the way of lacing.
Smell takes me places. Beer related I'm getting toasted malt, biscuit, spices, wet herbs and a bit of warming alcohol in the back. More abstract I'm getting wet wooden deck after a rainstorm, dusty fabric on a booth in the corner of a pub.
Taste is full of bready toasted malt, honey, overripe lemon, walnuts (but just the flakey tacky outside thin layer).
Light to medium bodied. This beer is one I only picked up as a single... and I'm going back tomorrow to get more without a doubt.
