Our beloved Nettle Ale is brewed with Salt Spring Island-foraged stinging nettle and BC honey. Deep in copper colour, and with an earthiness that is balanced with just the right amount of hops and honey sweetness, your palate will be blown away by its complexity. Do yourself a favour and join us in our tasting room for a taste off this truly unique brew carefully designed (literally ~ without getting stung) by our brewer Heather Kilbourne. Limited Spring Release.

Copper with a hint of haze, moderate carbonation and 5 fingers of tan head.
Smells like beer.
Taste like beer.
Medium body with moderate carbonation.
Buy a bud, its much cheaper. Not getting any nettle or salt water in this brew I got in Inverness, BC, Canada and am drinking in Redding, CA.

On draft at a Victoria BC pub. 5% ABV and 15 IBU.
Clear deep amber body. Very good head.
Clean flavor with a semi-dry finish. Subtle herbal notes set this apart. Refreshing.
