Salt Spring Brewing 'Spring Fever Gruit Ancient Ale' @ 5.2% , originally tasted on cask at the GCBF'12 , this review from a 650 ml bottle
A-pour is a dark amber from bottle to glass with a small off white head that is quickly dissipating leaving no lace along the pint glass , hmm
S-herbs & spices (made without hops)
T-sweet start , blah finish , almost flat tasting
MF-ok carbonation , weak body
Ov-not sure why the beer is released in late summer and not spring ? , maybe thats why it's so flat tasting , I can't recommend this beer
