I had this beer on-cask in a pub glass at the brewery in Edinburgh.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a thick head of creamy foam atop. Love cask!
Smell: malt is rather bready with a kind of generic tropical fruitiness from the hops. Not too bad.
Taste: kind of a flat earthy maltiness with that sort of generic tropical fruit flavor. To be honest, it’s not entirely my favorite. This tastes like maybe sorghum syrup, who is not my favorite GF method.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a very low carbonation but a nice smoothness.
Overall: like I said, it’s not my favorite GF beer; but, GF drinkers may find something really nice here if they don’t mind that sorghum syrup taste.
