I had this beer on-tap in a half pint pub glass at the brewery in Edinburgh.
Appearance: pale brown hue with a dash of haze and a good effervescence. Head is a thick head of creamy ivory foam. It looks really nice!
Smell: sweetish, caramelly malt with a really nice aroma of dark bread. Quite good.
Taste: a bit sweeter than the aroma, but again with a nice caramelly and bready character. Bitterness is not high but it is enough to complement the sweetness well. A solid beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a light carbonation but a nice smoothness.
Overall: this is far superior to the IPA I had from Bellfield. I think gluten free ingredients might just play better with this particular flavor profile.
