Another 0.33l bottle received as a gift from Gerhardt at Café Abseits. Enjoyed in a park in Maastricht on 24SEP16. Bottle notes best by 07APR17 and has pale, pils, vienna and caramel malts, plus cascade, centennial, chinook and columbus hops....
Had a lovely, deep amber/golden hue, with a slight bit of haze within. Head was light tan, fluffy and creamy. Started at 1/2' but slowly receded, with excellent lace in its wake. Nose had a touch of caramel plus some decent citrus wafting about. Had a medium body, with a fairly smooth feel on the tongue.
Tasted a bit of toasty malt at the start, with some light sweetness, along with hints of apricot and tangerine. It then got a bit more pithy, with pineapple and grapefruit making an appearance. The hops lingered nicely at the finish. Not spectacular but still solid. Prosit!!
