A: Pours a clear reddish/orange color. A Small white head forms that quickly recedes. Light lace is left behind.
S: Spicy bitter grapefruit rind up front. Piney and resinous.. Not a lot of depth here, and just basically bitterness that lingers on forever.
T: Spicy and peppery almost. Grapefruit rind with lots of late addition bitterness. Lingering bitterness is one thing, but there is also a lot of soapy, oiliness here as well.
M/O: A medium to full body. High carbonation with that slick, oily, resinous feel. A pretty one dimensional DIPA, with a late edition bitterness that I am just not a fan of.
An average DIPA. Not a lot of depth or character outside of late addition bitterness. The soapy oily feel is about the only other thing of note. Not something I am coming back to often.
