I had this beer on-tap in a schooner glass at the brewery.
Appearance: medium golden hue with just a hint of haze and a thin layer of white foam atop.
Smell: malty with a little corny character and a fair amount of yeastiness. It’s a little sharp, or something; not necessarily my favorite.
Taste: sweetish malt with a rather yeasty, “beer-y” flavor and a somewhat heavy bitterness. The malt is ever so slightly corny, and it’s a bit harsh overall, even for the style.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and decent texture.
Overall: it’s not terrible, but this beer just doesn’t click for me.
