From a 16oz can, undated. Served in a nonic.
Pours a lightly hazed, pale sunshiney-gold with two-plus fingers of stiffly whipped egg white-like suds. Retention is amazing and leaves big gobs of fluffy lacing suspended off the sides of the glass.
Moderately sharp, woodsy, earthy aroma of toasted malt and zesty citrus. A Schlitz with a spritz of lemon.
Taste follows the nose with semi-harsh graininess, toast and lemon predominant, with a pine bark or rosemary sort of woody, herbal character. Good biting bitterness and a zesty finish.
Feel is crisp and clean, medium bodied with aggressive, prickly carbonation.
Overall, very enjoyable. A bit of an old-fashioned seeming malty/grainy base beer judiciously updated with modern dual-purpose aromatic and bittering hops.

Can: Poured a somewhat hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus notes with some light tropical notes and some dryer hops undertones notes also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops notes with some subtle tropical flavours and a dry hoppy finish with limited bitterness. Body is about full with good carbonation. Enjoyable IPL with nice mix of lesser known hops.
