Body is a deep dark brown, building a finger of coffee-crema head that has average retention.
Aromas of bitter coffee, dark cocoa, some acidity and a light fruitiness of blackberry and dark cherry.
Bold dark roast coffee flavour, a strong bitterness that builds to the finish, accompanied by mild acidity; there are faint notes of cocoa, overpowered by the taste near-burnt coffee; body is medium as is the carbonation, with a feel that is soft and slightly powdery while also have a bite and burn from the bitter & acidic roast malt; dry finish.
Big & brash in flavour, it will be enjoyed by those that like a Starbucks roast, though I'd prefer more balance.
