Hazy amber body, forming a short, sand-coloured head, with low retention.
Aroma of banana, pumpkin spice, apple juice, butter.
Owns a distinct and prominent spice flavour, amped by a light hop bitterness that doesn't contribute flavour. Burnt caramel (not sugary). A bit of a rubbing alcohol flavour in there, more than there should be, it can be distracting. Medium-light body, with light, fine carbonation

Over time the alcohol taste becomes a real distraction from an otherwise interesting brew that seeks to focus on the rye characteristics. Hopefully they refine future iterations, it has potential. Many of their other malt-forward brews are great.
