OK, like the other reviewer I was shocked by the overflowing bottle and had to wait about 10 minutes for the beer in the glass to calm down to drinkable level. The rocky head was intriguing to look at, once down to drinking I felt it was a passable hefeweizen and a respectable entry into the craft field from a brewery not known for quality. Not as much banana-clove as I would have preferred. In fact I don't know who the audience is for this - real beer people will be picky and go elsewhere, curious mega-brew punters will be annoyed by the pouring difficulties and not go back.

This beer is the most overcarbonated I have ever seen to the point that it is really undrinkable. It filled a big Hefe glass with all foam which never settled and trying to drink out the bottle was like getting squirted with a beer spritzer. What was an established brewery like Pacific Western thinking when they put this beer on the market. They could have made a decent Hefe with Organic ingredients that would have given a bit of foothold into the craft area but instead brought out a tinny tasting wheat beer that is undrinkable becuase of the overcarbonation.
