Unruly Mystic is what they’re calling this beer now that it was released in can form. The few times I’ve been to Archatype I’ve always eyed this beer, but for whatever reason never ordered it. After buying a can and trying it, wish I had ordered it sooner. Black in color with a thick tan head, which leaves nice lacing on the glass. Smell and flavor of quality coffee, unsweetened baker’s chocolate, and getting just a touch of smoke in the finish, which is really nice. Fairly full mouthfeel for a 5.6 abv porter. Really well done, would drink this one again for sure.

Hell yes. This beer is exciting from the first whiff of coffee, chocolate, and some sweetness I can't place . The taste is all sorts of coffee, bakers chocolate, and maybe some kind d of dark stone fruit. The mouthfeel is nice, with a subtle prickly carbonation that fades quick and a pretty full body. Love this porter.

6.1, ABV, 25 IBU. True to title, very dark, heavy coffee flavor, lots of creamy lace.

Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Decent retention and good lacing. Smells of fresh coffee, sweet malt, roasted malt, hint of chocolate, and slight spicy hops. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of fresh coffee, sweet malt, roasted malt, hint of chocolate, and slight spicy hops. Overall, tasty, great blend, good body and aroma.
