Slightly hazy amber orange color with a thick beige head with good retention.
Aroma with notes of orange marmalade, mild pine, “dama da noite” sweet flowers and caramels.
Flavor with predominant notes of orange and grapefruit citrusy, followed by lots of pine, toasted malts and just a bit of caramel. Dry aftertaste with a long bitterness. Its 60 IBUs, feels about right.
Light towards medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 7% abv is very well disguised.
Traditional American IPA recipe with the good piney and citrusy fresh notes to tame hopheads. Aroma could be enhanced with dry hopping. I had bad expectations, but I like it.
