Really smooth IPA. Solid, drinkable taste with a nice mild bitterness at the end.

Poured a light-gold body with minimal head and lace patches down the glass. Earthy, dry, floral aroma. Dry, earthy, slightly spicy/piney hops with minimal grapefruit sweetness that adds a good balance on this old-school DIPA. Smooth body, finishes crisp and floral and is really easy to drink.

At the brewpub for the first day of the World Cup. This one is dank. Super resinous and pretty darn bitter. Super balanced and these days it would be considered a downright malt bomb. A true Imperial IPA rather than a hop bomb. Not bad!

Being completely unfamiliar with Wicked Barley, this brew was a gamble, especially on tap at an outdoor food festival. I was not disappointed!
Fairly dark brew, reddish-amber, but I wouldn't call it an imperial red ale. Clear - perhaps transparent - in the glass.
Aroma is invitingly hoppy, featuring citrus and pine, along with a little bit of tropical fruit. The darker color is reflected in the presence of caramel malt on the nose, along with just a bit of pale cracker trying to reach through the hops.
Palate follows: plenty of hops from the aroma translate right to the flavor. Big juicy citrus notes and some tropical tones, riding a brown sugar and honey cracker malt base. Nice, old school strong bitterness.
Crisp and bold feel, not at all cloying or syrupy. At 8%, the feel almost leans closer to single IPA territory.

I tried this at Kickbacks in JAX. The beer poured a clear golden with white head left a spotty lace. The scent was had hints of bitter pine. The taste pine resin-y and not overly easy to drink. The mouthfeel was fuller in body good carbonation. Overall it was a so so beer.
