At the brewpub. A double stout, according to the beer list. Properly creamy with lots of roasted malt and chocolate. Slightly lactic finish and body but in a good way without being cloying. Not mind blowing but a consistent and tasty stout!

I tried this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with ecru head that did not leave any lace. The scent had some roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. Roast, coffee and chocolate hints were present. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.
