While the Menomonee River Valley isn't the powerhouse as it was in the past, is still a very important part for Milwaukee's industry. Those workers need a place to wind down and have a drink after a shift, and Third Space is one of those immediate answers. The space which Third Space occupies is semi-gated complete with a parking lot which can get chaotic when the taproom is busy. The building itself is home to a large taproom, the brewhouse and merchandise to take home. An outdoor biergarten flanks the entrance of the taproom and borders the train tracks. It does get busy inside and outside on weekends, and for good reason; this is good place to spend time.
Nearly two dozen beers pouring from draft according to the beer menu formed in two columns above the taps. Beers are priced as $, $$, $$$ and barrel aged; no numeric listing makes it a little difficult to gauge if $ to a first timer indicates a $6 pour or a $7 pour. Ironic, because beers to-go are clearly priced with numbers. Year rounders like Happy Place and Unite the Clans are there, but many more of them rotate in and out. I got to taste a good dry stout (National Sport of Ireland) my last visit, and there are often several variants of strong stout pouring. Third Space will also play with lagers, however expect a large presence of the hoppy nectar at any given time. I've always found something new to drink from the menu during my several visits here. Every visit ends in a happier me.

Located in a central, former industrial part of this city. This taproom, is also the brewery. A nice and tall old brick warehouse, with big wall doors that open to a large, courtyard patio with large umbrellas and pooches. The eager to explain and serve staff, is above the cut. The beer is also quite good, including a barley wine aged in rye whiskey barrels.

No frills tap room inside the brewing facility, but the space is large with room for a lot of people. The quality of the beer was very good. Service was friendly and helpful. Plenty of year round, rotating and seasonal beers on tap and cans to go. No kitchen, but there was a food truck parked in the lot during my Saturday visit.

Visited on 3/16/18. Like this place a lot. It is easy to get to and has a ton of parking which is an added bonus.
The space is a converted old warehouse. The bar and seating area has tons of room. We tried two beers and both were excellent - Unbridled Enthusiasm (DIPA) and Mystic Knot (BA Stout). The two "beertenders" were both helpful and friendly. Overall I would list this place and Black Husky as my favorite MKE breweries in terms of quality product and friendly service. Will be back when it is warmer to hang out on the patio.

My ratings could possibly be higher but this is a new establishment. There is plenty of room inside and plenty parking outside. Located just a few blocks from Marquette University. As for the beers........they could be considered some of the best in the region.
